Saugeen Shores has two Business Improvement Areas (BIAs) – the Southampton BIA and Port Elgin BIA.
BIAs are not-for-profit organizations that help businesses in specific geographical areas grow and expand. They bring together members of our business community to promote economic development. They also support businesses in organizing, financing and making improvements to physical spaces.
The Town of Saugeen Shores oversees and manages the budget of the BIAs.
The Southampton Business Improvement Area (BIA) promotes economic development and beautification to support the Southampton business community.
